week six mini teach and evaluation tool

I chose to do a mini teaching session on Diagnostic Evaluation. It is presented in presentation form using NearPod as a sharing tool. Just open this link. Hope you enjoy it! C.

Using the information from the readings, create an evaluation tool for one of your tasks, assignments, or projects.
  • Determine a topic to teach to a target audience;
  • Establish one learning outcome—domain, taxonomy, and standard;
  • Determine how to evaluate the learning outcome;
  • Brainstorm evaluation suggestions;
  • Create a rough draft of a measuring schematic, marking guide, or rubric.
Rationalize why you chose the topic, which learning outcome was isolated, what is the best instrument for measuring the learning, and to what degree or standard of performance the learners/participants are expected to perform. Post your finished evaluation tool in the folder titled Session 6: Evaluation Tool . Review each others' evaluation tools and respond with your comments or questions

TOPIC: Technology for the Educator

OUTCOME: Compile a list of technological tools to enhance pedagogy (Blooms taxonomy,cognitive domain, synthesis level)

HOW TO BEST EVALUATE: At the synthesis and evaluation levels, students produce, design, create and evaluate -Cranton.

EVALUATION SUGGESTIONS: A presentation of the students findings, group or individual projects, oral presentations, production of a video. Discussion can play an important role at this level. I would most likely give the student options for creating a presentation or video.

Ten Tools Presentation Rubric

Learners are asked to develop a presentation of ten technological tools that may be used in educational settings. Descriptions of the tools and how they might be used must be included. Learners will develop their presentations using presentation technology or video. The presentations must be shared in the online environment and learners must provide a link to their work.
